This report also incorporates Radar Recognition as well as current conditions and alerts County by County for the listening area. Good afternoon, folks! Let's dive into what's happening with the weather across our counties. In Wayne County, we’re looking at a chance of showers and maybe even a thunderstorm or two this afternoon. It's a toasty 88 degrees, so keep cool if you can. Heads up though, there's an air quality alert in effect, so you might want to take it easy outdoors, especially if you’ve got asthma or other respiratory concerns. In Oakland County, similar weather is expected with a muggy 86 degrees and a special note about a thunderstorm near Brighton, moving east at about 15 mph with gusty winds. It could toss around unsecured stuff, so keep an eye on that. Like Wayne, Oakland's also under an air quality alert. Macomb County might see some rain showers today as well, with temps at around 84 degrees. And just like Wayne and Oakland, Macomb's under the same air quality advisory. Essentially, the advice is to stay indoors if you’ve got any respiratory issues. Moving to Monroe County—here we also have a chance of showers and storms with a temperature of 85 degrees. There's an air quality alert here too, so be cautious if you’ve got sensitive breathing. Washtenaw’s weather is lining up with the others—look for chances of showers and storms, and it’s 86 degrees right now. There’s a storm tracking near Brighton, so stay safe and maybe hang out inside if you’re near there. And yep, you guessed it, there’s an air quality alert here as well. In Livingston County, we're also expecting storms, with temperatures around 86 degrees. Again, watch for those storms coming through, and the air quality alert means it’s a good idea to minimize time outside if you’re in a sensitive group. Finally, in St. Clair, it's mostly sunny with a nice 83 degrees. But don't let the sunshine fool you—there’s an air quality alert here too, so do take care. In terms of radar, there's a prominent line of storms coming in from the west, particularly intense around Howell and Putnam. They’re moving eastward, heading towards Ann Arbor and the Detroit metro area. So, if you’re in that path, be ready for some heavy rain and winds. That’s the weather scoop for now. Keep an ear out for updates as conditions can change quickly. Stay safe and enjoy your day!
